Pass IT on
Pass IT on is about sharing computers and the internet with your offline friends and family.
There are two ways you can help get your friends and family online: find a UK online centre near them using the search tool below, or if they’ve got web access at home, get them registered on myguide, our beginners’ guide to the internet.
Not sure what’s best for them? Try our fun Pass IT on personality test to help you decide.

How Pass IT on works
- 1. Search for a UK online centre near your loved one using our handy centre search. Just enter their postcode and we’ll tell you where their nearest centre is!
- 2. If your offline friend or family member has already got web access but needs help doing more, register them on myguide - our introduction to the internet. Why not have a look yourself?
- 3. Now you’re ready to Pass IT on. Send your loved one the details of their nearest UK online centre, or their myguide login.
- 4. Follow up! Give them a nudge and check that they’ve gone to a UK online centre or logged on to myguide.
- 5. Watch them fly… once they’ve mastered the basics, myguide can help them learn how to shop online, upload photos and even trace their family tree!
