Become a Centre Partner

UK online centres is the largest digital inclusion network in England. There are currently over 3,800 Centre partners in the network and this number is growing fast. If your organisation helps and supports people to use the internet, join us and become a Centre partner.

As a Centre partner we'll provide you with:

  • Grant funding*. Centre partners are eligible to apply for UK online centres funding. 
  • Marketing materials*. Centre partners are eligible to receive free marketing materials, branded items, and packs for high profile national campaigns like Get online week.
  • Free training and grants*. Centre partners are eligible to attend a wide range of free online training session and to apply for a training grant of up to £1,000 for staff and volunteers to pay for accredited qualifications.
  • Daily Management Information (MI)*. Centre partners that sign up and deliver Online basics will be provided with data on a daily basis to manage learning and provide an analyse provision.
  • Fantastic learning resources. Centre partners can access a wide range of fantastic resources, guides and short courses (including Online basics) for  learners at www.go-on.co.uk completely free of charge.
  • Inclusion on our national database. Centre partners are included on a national database of community IT centres to help members of the public find places to get online. The database can be accessed online or freephone number 0800 77 1234.

As a Centre partner, you'd need to:

    • Provide people with free or low cost access to computers and the internet with help and support to use them
    • Have a minimum of two computers or laptops and a broadband internet connection that meets the UK online centres technology specification.

    • Provide learners with an excellent and safe experience
    • Meet the UK online centres Quality Promise. Centre partners are required to ensure learners receive a friendly welcome and are supported throughout a positive learning journey that meets their needs and requirements.
       
    • Support learners to use the wide range of resources, guides and short courses on the Go ON learn website
    • Help a minimum of three learners to register for Online basics at www.go-on.co.uk each month
    • Let us know about your progress, read our newsletters and take part in our evaluations, surveys, social media and forums
