UK Online Centres

This article was published in the April edition of Insight, the membership magazine of the Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation, and showcases the government's plans for the roll out of Universal Credit,  the work UK online centres are doing to ensure everyone will have the skills and confidence to access  it, and what needs to be done to ensure it's a success

This paper has been prepared by UK online centres to highlight the attitudes of employers towards online skills, based on a research report commissioned by ICM. The paper also brings together the existing statistics on ICT skills and employment, and highlights the existing partnership between UK online centres which is helping thousands of people find work more quickly, and saving millions for the government. 

Following Online Centres Foundation's successful tender for the running of the UK online centres service, we now have a new direction and a new strategy which will see us broadening our focus and working with more people. You can read it here.
