UK online centres use the Go ON website to help new or nervous users get online for the first time.
www.go-on.co.uk/learn includes our own courses, and learning resources from partners including the BBC and Digital Unite. The website has been designed as a a 'one-stop shop' for new internet users, where they can get the best possible start to their online life.
As well as 'tasters' and fun stuff to try out, the Go ON website also hosts the Online basics course. Learners sign up for a Go ON account, so they can track their progress through the course's modules, which include using a keyboard and mouse, email, internet searching, internet safety and using online public services.
After Online basics, learners can go on to find out more about Facebook, online job hunting, digital photography and much more.
